Wrong Address in Auto-complete Memory

A very handy feature of Outlook is that it will remember previously used email addresses for when you write a new one.

The only problem is that occasionally an address is no longer wanted, it may no longer be in use or not the one you want to use, but you keep running into it. How do you remove them? Not that obvious!

The issue is that in Outlook 2007 (and before) you can only do this using your keyboard. Once you know it it’s simple. Simply select the old or wrong address using your cursor keys and press the DELETE button (DEL) to remove the entry from the memory. Do note, using your mouse will not work!

note: as of Outlook 2010 you can also click the delete cross next to the name.
