Finding Related Messages
Older versions of Outlook do not support the “conversation view” that provides a quick overview of all emails in that discussion. Yet a feature was built in that can help you achieve the same.
If you have answered or forwarded an email a line will appear above the body of the email stating that you answered and when. You can click on this line and it brings up the option “Find related emails”, click again and an advanced search window will appear returning all emails with the same subject line from multiple folders. Quick and easy!
Note, you know if an answer or forward exists by the blue or purple arrow in the email envelope icon.
